From our friendly staff and heartfelt service to simple days with time and space to relax, think, or do nothing—L’Ovella Negra is a true passion place for our guests. We're all about creating the perfect ambiance for you to switch off, enjoy, and let the day unfold. The intimate nature of our hotel brings in amazing stories from all over the world—and we love leaving space for stories to be shared over a bottle of wine.
Until its renovation in 2017, the lodge served as a farm storage space for tractors and hay. Owner and founder Prisca Llagostera purchased the property and personally planned its transformation into a hotel, adding interior walls and room divisions. Today, the lodge’s design features wooden floors, walls, and chairs arranged around a sleek hanging fireplace—the warm heart of the main space.

Mountain people, foodies, wine lovers, makers, mushroom pickers. Our team is a wonderful mix of international and Andorran hotel and food experts. From summer bar staff to year-round kitchen service, our intimate lodge attracts great people through a shared love for our mountains and way of life.

— Prisca Llagostera

Born in Andorra to an English mother and a Spanish father, Prisca Llagosterra has the mountains—and hotel business—in her veins. She drew hotels in her diary from the age of eight, and after a stint working in VIP events in London and New York, she decided to jump into her passion full-time and become a hotelier. Today, with over ten years as a hotel owner on her resumé, she is the visionary owner of L’Ovella Negra in Andorra and Kokos Huis in South Africa. Prisca splits her time between both countries and is usually found in a leather jacket, enjoying a glass of her husband's natural wines in either place.
